Q: Is there a charge or obligation to bring samples to our home or office?
A: No, it is free. There are no additional charges and no obligations.
Q: Who must be at the free in-home consultation:
A: All parties who are involved in making the decision. Sales Representatives can not leave the samples, so we ask that all parties responsible for the decision making be present for the consultation.
Q: Where do you get your products?
A: All of our Products come directly from the manufacturers.
Q: What type of payments do you accept?
A: We accept Cashier Checks, Money Orders, Personal Checks, Major Credit Cards, PayPal and Certified Checks.
Q: Are you selling second or third quality?
A: No, we sell only first quality goods. No seconds or thirds, no damaged goods, no blemishes, no defects.
Q: Do all your products come with warranties?
A: Yes, every product comes with full factory warranties.
Q: How long does it take to get the materials in?
A: Most of the time, the manufacturers have the products in stock, and we usually get them in 2-3 business days or sooner. However, in rare cases, it can take longer, depending on availability.
Q: Does The Floor Barn do the installations?
A: Yes, we do all installations. Our installers are top of the line professionals.
Q: Is there an installation warranty?
A: Yes, there is a 2 year warranty on the installation of your floors, double the industry standard.
Q: Does your company dispose of old materials (floorings)?
A: Yes, on the day of installation we will take away your old flooring at no cost additional cost to you.
Q: Does your company provide your free in-home consultations on nights or weekends?
A: Yes, we can schedule your free in-home consultation on nights and Saturdays.
Q: Does your company install your products on weekends?
A: Yes, we can schedule your installation on Saturdays. However, these dates are very desirable so it might require your desired installation date to be flexible depending on the availability.
Q: Does your installers move furniture for the installation?
A: Yes, our installers will move standard furniture, but not extremely fragile objects like vases or china cabinets, nor extremely heavy objects or items such as a piano, pool table, fish tank, or floor based tv models.
Q: Do you have a product minimum or limit on purchases?
A: For floor or Wall Tile, Laminate or Hardwood purchases, manufacturers do have a minimum purchase of a single box. A box of tile can vary in number of sizes, but a 12 x 12 tile contains 10 -12 pieces of tile. A typical box of laminate/hardwood flooring has 10-12 pieces. For decorative or bull-nosed tile, there is no minimum purchase amount.
Q: Does your installers finish jobs with transition moldings?
A: Yes, all of our installations are professionally finished with coordinating trim or baseboards with your flooring product
